What connections do I need to use the Ario app?

To control your Ario lamp with the app, the lamp needs to be connected to WiFi and the app needs to have data connection. The basic button controls on the Ario lamp will work without the app (or WiFi connection).


How do I connect the Ario app to the lamp?

Make sure the Ario lamp is plugged in and powered on. Then log into the app and follow the instructions to set up the lamp to connect to WiFi. Once the lamp is connected, you'll be able to control Ario with the app any time you're on WiFi or a data connection.


Can I adjust the speed of the sunrise simulation?

Yes, you can set the speed in the Ario app under Settings. Based on several studies, we recommend an increase from 0% to 100% over one hour. That's when we feel the best!

I'm having technical issues!

Are you running the latest version of the Ario app? You can check by going to the Google Play or App Store and running any applicable updates.

Then try logging out and back into the app. Verify your mobile data and WiFi connection is strong. If the problem persists, try deleting and re-installing the entire app.

What type of power outlet does Ario use?

Ario has a standard US 15A plug and will work anywhere in the world with a simple adapter for the local region. For reference, input power can be 90-265Vac 50-60Hz.

How can Ario help me feel better?

We designed Ario to match the rhythm of the sun. Naturally, when you're under Ario's light you'll feel better because your body will receive the optimal light cues to help you feel alert during the day and sleepy before bed. For best results, limit blue (or white) light 2-4 hours before going to sleep and wake up with Ario's sunrise alarm.
